Venus holds a very special place in our hearts. Both Saturn (June and April's mum) and Venus were our foundation girls, and we are eternally grateful for the progeny they have given us.
VENUS! Special, special Venus deserves a very special post for her retirement. We love you, and you have given us so much, not just in your divine progeny but also in our everyday lives. You are calm and collected, sending out so much love and good energy to all that you love. We are eternally grateful to have had you as one of our foundations. Your progeny has taken on your traits and beautiful looks, and I cannot wait for what the future brings. We feel beyond privileged to have found the most amazing family for Venus at the start of the year (2024). An only dog home where she gets absolutely showered in love. All that you deserve, you wonderful being!!

My name is Venus. I was born on the 26th of August 2020.
After two litters, I moved in with a beautiful family in Canberra. I know I bring them joy every day, and they are so grateful to now own me. I had another litter at my original Dalsgold home at the end of 2024; I ended on a high with eight gorgeous babies. Dalsgold was considering a fourth litter, however, I had an emergency c-section, which marked the end of my breeding career.
A little more about my character:
I am extremely gentle and calm. I rarely bark and I am always easy to have around. I was never trouble growing up, and very easy to train. I am the most relaxed Goldie, that just happily walks beside you, even when all the other dogs run after a rabbit in the distance. While I enjoy the other dogs' company, for me, my humans are most important. I love being outside and often I go through the doggy door at night and sleep in my favourite spot underneath the stairs. Sometimes I take my bed with me. I would never challenge my humans to be the boss. Therefore I think that my babies would suit first-time dog owners and families with young kids.
I love to swim. My coat is dark golden and very thick. Like all Goldens I need to be groomed regularly, however, I barely shed any hair throughout the house. It's got my parents puzzled. I get along great with all animals. Really, I am like the picture-perfect Goldie. :)

Saturn has given us our gorgeous June and April, which we are eternally grateful for.
My name is Saturn. I was born on the 06th of December 2019.
I show all the great characteristics of a Golden Retriever. I am very active and love attention from my humans. I do like other dogs, but even though I am not, I'd like to be the boss.
I love food. I would do a lot for food and sometimes I go looking for food in the cupboards when my humans aren't around. Since we're living on a farm I occasionally also find delicious dead things and bring them back to show mum and dad. They are always delighted. Mum keeps a close eye on my diet though, which is important because I can't help myself, and when I get too big life is a lot harder.
Another true point of my character is my soft mouth and eagerness to retrieve. I could retrieve all day and I have got a strong head and neck to carry heavy things. If we go for a walk and I find something I like, I can carry it all the way back home.
Besides pats, food and retrieving I also absolutely adore water. I drink a lot of water, I splash a lot of water and if there is a puddle, a dam or a pool I am in the water. Although I can get pretty filthy, my humans are always blown away by how clean my coat stays considering.
I've got the typical coat of a Goldie: it's long and just the right softness and there is lots of it. I shed a lot and I need a lot of brushing. I am glad about that though because I love to be brushed.
I am not a big barker unless something super suspicious is going on. I never go anywhere, I like to stay close around the house and yard. I am very loyal to my humans and they are, after all my needs my number one priority.
I am also very smart and love doing things that challenge my brain. I always want to learn more and it never takes me long to understand what I am asked to do.
Although I love activities and mind games, it's also ok some days to just chill out with my humans and relax on the lounge or at the back door where I can see the garden and surroundings.
Of course, I like to come inside but I also have got a lot of fur and I love fresh air so I am glad I am not just an inside dog. I wish the same for my puppies!

However, Dalsgold decided to follow a different direction in character and appearance and discontinued this line. I now live with a lovely family in Canberra, desexed and retired.
